MAN FLEES POLICE AND HIDES IN A BOX.

Ryan Whitehead fled from a police check and escaped on foot after causing a collision, eventually hiding inside a box. His car had been spotted by a patrol on the M20 and was pursued by Kent Police before being involved in a crash near Seal, Sevenoaks. The incident occurred on February 8th, after the man had been stopped by officers at the Port of Dover. Whitehead, from Blaenavon, was also charged with assaulting a police officer. The man admitted to all offences and was found guilty at Canterbury Crown Court.
