INVESTIGATIONS ARE STILL ONGOING INTO THE LEVEL CROSSING ACCIDENT.

A man was injured in an accident that occurred on March 10th in Richborough, near Sandwich. He remains in hospital in critical but stable condition. Police are still investigating the collision between a car and a train. Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Many bystanders reported hearing a "loud bang" before the train came to a sudden halt. Passengers were held on board for approximately an hour and a half following the incident. The railway line was promptly closed, and all services were only reinstated at 2:00 AM the following morning.
